It was good to be back among friends after...man, he didn't know how long he'd been gone but it sure as hell felt like a while. And everyone knew Lea did not like being by himself.

Right now, he'd stopped by Radiant Garden - not his; he'd managed to get his portal to take him to the other Isa's - for a visit. Despite not being his Isa, he'd still missed the guy. They'd become pretty good friends regardless.

He stepped out of the portal and pulled his hood up, before pausing and lowering it. Maybe it was a good idea to keep it down...black coats never meant good things and the last thing he wanted was to be spotted by a trigger-happy Leon.

He paused in his path to the crew's house, abruptly turning and making a beeline for Scrooge's. He was in the mood for ice cream (though when was he not?) and decided to take a detour before stopping by.

No srsly tho, especially RikuShi, like I played Days in under 3 days and then lent it out and didn't see it again until a year and a half later, so I missed so much subtext. So I didn't ship Akusai OR RikuShi until I discussed it with my roommate while she was replaying it and then MY EYES WERE OPENED the end. u u

Lol idk how I was supposed to pick at random?? So I shuffled my iTunes until I hit an OTP song and ended up with Words that we Couldn't Say by the Seatbelts, which natch reminds me of Akusai.

Isa grimaced. He'd really put his foot in it now.

"...my apologies," he said, gesturing to his head. "Sometimes, with head injuries...perhaps I'd better sit down," he said, lowering himself onto a nearby step. He was deliberately vague with his explanation, hoping Roxas would take it that he'd just gotten confused rather than that he'd meant what he said.

Roxas visibly hesitated before he approached Isa. And when he did, he was very careful to keep some distance between them. It was REALLY good to see him up and about- but- he really shouldn't be here. This had been a horrible idea. "- Hey, Isa," the boy greeted cautiously, "You're looking better."

Isa should not have been out of bed. It had barely been a two days since the fight, and he was still recovering. If Aerith caught him, there was going to be hell to pay. But Isa was getting antsy penned up in bed. He needed to get out and stretch his legs; what Aerith didn't know wouldn't kill him.

He perked up when he saw Roxas, smiling warmly for a moment. It turned a bit awkward, though, when he saw how uncomfortable the boy looked. Since he hadn't been visiting before the incident, Isa was sure the Organization had probably cracked down on his unsupervised expeditions. He'd probably also been very frightened by the whole episode in the canyon. Isa opened his mouth to apologize for that.

"Roxas, if I could take you from the Organization without putting you and your friends in danger, I would do it right this moment. They don't treat you well," he blurted out. He instantly flushed, his eyes springing wide open and his hand rushing to his mouth. Damn. His concussion must be worse than he thought, if he was just spouting off whatever was on his mind without a single filter.
