It had been far too long. That was the only thing Aria was truly sure of at this point. Years, centuries even, since the last time she'd seen either of her parents, since she'd seen anyone she knew really. She'd been fighting for as long as she could remember, but now it was time to go home.

She took a deep breath before knocking on the door. While she waited for it to open, she briefly debated leaving, fear shooting through her that maybe it had been too long, but as soon as her mother opened the door, Aria couldn't help but give her a watery smile.

"Hi Mum, I'm home."

"Well then...this is interesting. You must be the Master."

Aria wasn't entirely sure where she was, only that something seemed very, very familiar about it. She was about to take out her sonic and scan the area when she caught sight of her and her hearts stopped. "Hello there," she murmured, "what are you doing out here?"

"Freeze! Put your hands up before I sh...Gra...Rory? Rory Williams? What are you doing here?"
