what's your absolute favorite dewey decimal number. with as many significant figures as possible

(mine's 741 and the 520s)

That's a toughie. I'm rather fond of the 590s (animals), especially 594 (molluscs; snails, octopuses, etc.), 595 (arthropods; bugs), and 599 (mammals). A lot of posts are filed there. 394 (customs/holidays) and 398 (myths/folklore) are also really fun to read through. I'm a skeptic, I don't believe in magic, but 133 (parapsychology/the occult) might be my favorite just because it makes me feel like the protagonist in an old movie, walking into the library to research whatever horror is secretly afflicting my small town. Rosemary Woodhouse would have found 133.4 (demonology and witchcraft) quite useful.

Ooh, parapsychology and the occult. 134.7 itself is unassigned, but it's between 133 (specific topics of parapsychology; including apparitions, divination, demonology, psychics, astrology and, most importantly, quackery/humbugs) and 135 (dreams and mysteries; including esoteric orders obsessed with alchemy and forbidden knowledge). I'm a man of science, but I get a kick out of this stuff. Parapsychology is the study of magic under the assumption that magic is real and inexplicable, but I'm more interested in anomalistic psychology which is the study of magic under the assumption that magic is NOT real and there are mundane explanations for any allegedly supernatural phenomena (IE debunking).

Does HP Lovecraft/his works get a number, and where is reanimation of the dead/necromancy

lovecraft's work can be found in the fiction section, but there may be some non-fiction books about the topics of necromancy in 133.43

what would the dewey decimal classification for fictional magic systems be? would it just be magic (fictional concept) in general or is there smth more specific that covers like magic as concerns worldbuilding?

Magic as in parapsychology and the occult would be under 133

Magic as in tricks and illusions would be under 793.8

Magic systems as used in fiction for worldbuilding would be classified under whatever category you're looking at it from; if you are designing a tabletop rpg/adventure game, it would be under 793.93. For video games, 794.8. For novels, it would probably be in the 808.3 under literature/rhetoric of fiction. A lot of worldbuilding guides I could find are not classified in the Dewey Decimal System, so they might not be considered non-fiction. Maybe look in the reference section?
