I just got done watching a play through of Reveil and a worm has lodged in my head (Technically the ‘v’ in it is an upside down triangle)
But 141 human experiment au anyone? My brain is tugging between rehabilitation from experiments or just experimentation

Price who is the warden of the 141 wing. He’s careful with the boys, knowing full well what an unstable experiment can bring. Seen it happen and it’s a blood bath of desperation.
He’s firm with them, but not restrictive, almost boarding on the other staff trying to push him out for his leniency. Hasn’t worked. The experiments require comforts to stay stable and suitable for tests. He’s willing to, and has, pulled up footage of past incidents with unsuitable subjects.
He’s more than willing to snap at the doctors and scientists when they take it too far with the boys. His boys. His wing. His rules.
Ghost who was a genetic experiment, one to see if they can change the DNA strands of adults rather then having to do it in the embryonic stage.
His skin is covered in scars and blemishes from needles and scalpels. One he doesn’t talk about is the length of his spine right down the middle of his back with a horizontal line at the base of his skull.
He’s aggressive with the staff. Trust is gone and he’ll snap with teeth if he has to. He isn’t always cooperative with procedures, his senses changing. Eyesight sharper to the point of aching, scents stronger to the point of nausea, and don’t get him started with touch… Price is called when he gets too rowdy, the only one he seems to calm down for and keep him suitable.
They call him Ghost because of how he moves. Slow and silent from the procedures, joints aching and muscles pulling. When he gets mad though, it seems he forgets his pains.

Gaz has been there the longest, being presented with memory experiments. Are they able to take them away, replace them, imprint, twist, and morph them into something they need? They want? They can use?
He’s not always aware, sometimes standing in the hall, hand wrapped around the IV drip from a recent procedure as he stares at nothing. Like he’s trying to remember something that had been taken from him. Price ushers him back to his room.
His headaches force him awake, pain slamming into his skull like an ice pick through his eye. It can be a whimper or sometimes a full on scream. He has scars on his face from scratching and thrashing from it, trying to escape something that just digs deeper into his head.
They call him Gaz because, one of the earliest procedures, one of the doctors called him that in mistake for his last name. He spent the four hours after the procedure repeating it.
Soap who was a cybernetics experiment, but not in the way of chopping off an arm and attaching a robotic piece. No, this was internal.
Not all of his bones are his anymore, metal cold under his skin. Major veins and arteries are synthetic. His heart still beats as his, but he’s always waiting for that to change. Muscles? Some are carbon based synthetics. Nerves and endings? Some are micro wires to send electric signals to his brain.
His body slows as it has to be forced to get used to the foreign pieces under his skin. How cold he gets now from improper blood circulation and body heat regulation. This sometimes means Price comes with heating pads and blankets.
Why the name Soap? He swears up and down that he can taste suds on his tongue after procedures.
