Act of kindness 0009/1460

This is a really special act of kindness.

A stranger gave me this photo to post. because they noticed that their Hispanic neighbors hadn’t been seen or heard from in a week, they were compelled to act! Saddened by the thought they might be “hiding”, she felt compelled to show them kindness in the form of chocolate, and to offer them a neighborly message or support and safety.

The neighbors were touched by the gesture and offered to share their dinner with this sweet bringer of chocolate and kindness.

This act of kindness stands out to me as extremely touching and heartening that kindness still exists and it can spread!

Neighbors are an important part of the “village”. A lesson I won’t forget after this story.

My mom is at it again! I love this one! She gave a close office friend a gift that was given to her by a mentor early in her social work career.

I can’t keep up with all of the acts of kindness!! They are coming in from friends, family, and even a few strangers! I’m going to post a few tonight along with my thoughts on “small kindnesses”

My mother gave my niece her “Hill Yes” keychain this evening! They are both happier now than before this simple act!
