Day 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 of 30 Day Cabbage Soup Diet
*this is a late post that was meant for Sunday October 11, 2015 *
Hey everyone its Stephanie! Here is my update from this week.
(10/6/15) Day 9- Today went by fairly well and I’m happy I got through it. I do notice that when I am home I tend to snack more; I decided to portion out my snacks according to their serving sizes, so I don't overeat.
(10/7/15) Day 10- Not much to say about today but I did make a new batch of soup to go to Connecticut with. Every day is a learning experience; I’m testing my limits and breaking them. Saying “no” will be hard but it’s possible. Good luck to me!
(10/8/15) Day 11- So I decided to go to Connecticut for the weekend to visit my family; I will be back on Tuesday October 13, 2015. I’m beginning to have doubts on whether I could finish this diet. Usually when I go see my family I eat a lot because they cook food almost every day, it’s like Thanksgiving! I’ve gotten so far, so giving up is not an option. I prepped my meals for on the go so I wouldn’t be tempted to eat foods not permitted on the diet. Let’s just see how this goes.
(10/9/15) Day 12- So far so good I haven’t yet cheated. I’ve been offered countless amounts of foods but I’m sticking to it. My family has been very supportive and some have decided to try it out as well. The best part about starting a diet is having a partner, so that you motivate each other to finish. I hope that I could inspire others to
(10/10/15) Day 13- Saturdays are always hard because they are what we call “junk food day”; no one in the house cooks and everyone either eats leftovers or some kind of fast food. Everyone gets to eat so carelessly while I have to watch what I eat. I guess I could just vicariously live through them, and pretend it’s me eating that juicy piece of fried chicken.
(10/11/15) Day 14-Today was an okay day, and I’m excited to see another week!
My next update will be on Monday October 12, 2015 which will be Day 15 of the 30 Day Cabbage Soup Diet. See you then!
