I went for one final trip through DC tonight, since I will be back in Chicago tomorrow. I went through the 14th Street corridor to see again the places I saw last month. I would like to thank the Streinbruck Center and Luther Place Memorial Church for showing me how DC is a friendly city. West Elm is coming to 14th Street

Oh, the anticipation! 

West Elm is setting up shop at 1728 14th Street, right at 14th and S. Their sleek, affordable (?) apartment-size furniture is fitting for the compact apartments cropping up throughout the neighborhood. Coming in Fall 2014.
