@15-44 STARTER ; (for gavner)
time was a funny, substantial but small thing. both inarguably impassable to most and easily weathered by that which really matters —-- like friendship. when out on an eve with twilight set in, solar runs into an old friend. and they're so happily surprised they can hardly contain it !!
never one to stay the same, their current physicality wasn’t the one he’d known. she was young. a child really, with brown skin and glasses, blue hair. of course, solar approaches this as delicately as they would anything else.
—-- arms out wide solar runs excitedly towards the man, their pigtails bouncing. when they latch onto one of his arms their large oval glasses go completely askew.
“ gavner !! a million to one, yet here we are ! —-- take that, you !! ” with a laugh, solar strikes out and points up at nothing that could be seen by the naked eye, but something all the same. a thread bespoke to probability.
they return their attention and give gavner the hugest smile. “we met but once before, i'm sure you'll remember; once you meet someone, you never truly forget them. what was that name ? oh, yes, jimmy ! ” solar purses their lips, thinks about that and tries to correct. “no wait, jimbo ? johnson, jo jo, joseline — well, something like that. I dunno, that one really didn't stick —-- but you can call me solar now !! ”
