Really fucking good episode this week, god damn. They did a very good job bringing the girls back together and it was nice seeing the different sides of witchdom with Eiko's fuckin bad bitch solo performance that's probably the best actual song in the show up to this point, plus this new witch whom helps the girls out in a way that ofc ties into how the show has been building its world and stuff. Also found the humour in episode 1 fucking hilarious but haven't really laughed a lot since then but this episode had 2 big ones, Keroppe nearly getting hit by a train and Kerrope's phone battery explanation for the memories which Yuina gets instantly, that second one in particular got me very good it was awesome. Also the very opening scene was cool as hell, the Maebashi Witches weren't apart for very long but they leaned into some of the meta aspects of that very well, I didn't mention it but the official twitter posted the key visual with the girls removed which went crazy. Just a good time all around. Honestly a little curious how the show's gonna end now, if Eiko will find some sort of personal redemption and if the girls will help her towards that or are just gonna stick to being friends with one another and chill for a bit. Maybe a where are they now thing with body confident Azu and mayor Kyouka and shit, but we'll see. This has been a very fun show and I'm glad to have been really excited for an original and have it just go very well across the board.

Okay fine you got me I want to watch the next episode now, your cliffhanger was effective I'm at the edge of my seat or whatever. Fuckin bizarre episode honestly this is such a strange direction for this narrative to take and really this arc overall is kinda just dumb, but I think the take I've settled on is Shoushimin in general is kinda stupid but it's presented so effectively that I can't help but be engaged anyway. What a show.
