Went to see The Light in the Piazza in London today. Unfortunately Dove Cameron couldn't perform but the understudy Molly Lynch was good and so was the rest of the cast and orchestra.

“Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the Universe” – Benjamin Alire Sáenz

 Book review

 “I bet you could sometimes find all the mysteries of the universe on someone’s hand”

This (wonderful amazing) book is about the story of two guys, Aristotle and Dante, who are bond by a profound friendship and love. The best part of the book is the sincerity of the journey taken by both to the discovery of themselves and of the world. At 16 years old you have a lot to learn and Benjamin successfully described the struggle of youth and also of adulthood as seen through the eyes of the parents, who try their best to raise their boys. In this case, parents actually have a very kind role, there’s not the traditional relationship described in other books where they fight with kids because they don’t understand each other, here they are friends in the purest form. Also, love in this book is treated so kindly, like a rose in a bush full of thornes. It’s pure, but not described as something too ethereal, because the narrator is a teenager that’s feeling different kinds of love and to describe them the author uses words that can be raw and soft at the same time. There’s nothing we can say more than read it, it’s worth ever second you’ll spend reading it.

Dublin 15th June 👏

Majorly looking forward to seeing Taylor Swift in Dublin on Friday 15th June.

Seats aren't the best but honestly, I don't care! Last time Taylor came to Dublin I missed out as I had just started a new job in London, and due to money being tight I couldn't just buy a London ticket last minute :( So, as I say the seats aren't the best and Taylor may only be a speck in the distance.. but I am so unbelievably excited to be finally seeing her at all!

So I'll be there in Block 719 Row A seats 20-23, with my mum and sisters, just truly grateful to be there ❤
