Her eyes run aflutter as a hand eases just beneath her shoulder blade, easing her into a gentle shift upwards as the feel of something cold and crystalline was tipped there just against her mouth. "Please drink this." She hears him murmur, as the rim of a bottle gently eases past her lips. "It'll help."

She doesn't deny him. Cannot deny him a thing. Even though she knows not what it is that he gives her, can barely open her eyes to see it—somehow, she trusts him still. Her mouth opens of her own accord, slipping open at his request, and a faint flood of liquid proceeds to tip past her lips, something cold and vaguely minty filling the full of her mouth.

Though he tries to be gentle, she still chokes immediately, but he is inordinately careful with her through it all, even as her throat seems reluctant to so much as swallow. The liquid spills down her chin, down her throat, but he holds her steady. His voice soothing and patient and gentle, and with his soft encouragement, she swallows once, twice, the third time—
