Free sms service providers in India. Which one is better?
I tried fullonsms, way2sms, ultoo, youmint, 160by2 and site2sms. Thats kind of a big list. According to my findings www.160by2.com is the better of them all and the next nearest competitor is www.way2sms.com. Lets look at them one by one.
FullOnSms: provides 140 chars, pops up an ad every time u send a message. provides templates. Message sender on the phone is titled LM-FullOn, which i dont like. sends message kind of instantly.
way2sms: provides 140 chars, provides a wide range of templates. Message sender on the phone is ur mobile no. , sends message almost instantly. the web interface is better than the competition in terms of usability. puts a little sent via way2sms.com in the end.
Ultoo: 140 chars again. pretty much same as fullonsms, pops up an ad when u send a message. message sender is titled LM-ULTOO. puts no ad in the sms, sends instantly. no online templates.
youmint: 160 chars, nice web interface. it was working a bit back. but now it doesnt sends a single damn message for me. It was the best actually. you cannot find the difference between the actual message sent by the phone or via this service. look up to it in the future. no ads but doesn't send sms as of now.
site2sms: worst service. doesnt send messages to numbers registered as DND. asks a lot of confirmation before sending a single damn sms. not worth it.
160by2: 140 chars, no in sms ads. works like a charm. this is the one i would bet my money on. have been sticking to it for a long time.
TL;DR -> go for 160by2.com
