how did you decide you wanted to have a baby? i’m late 20s and think pregnancy is terrifying but conscious I gotta start trying to make a decision … congratulations on your baby girl x
Ah thank you so much 🥰💗💗 I guess we always knew we wanted kids and said when we were in our mid-late 20s if the time was right we would start trying. I realised I was kinda out of my "selfish" era I guess.. I had done the holidays, the concerts, the nights out and felt I was ready for the next step. We thought it then felt like a good time to start trying soon after we'd bought our house and settled into it late last year! We kinda wanted our own place first (our old rental place was freezing and I was afraid to have a baby there!!), and we are engaged and in a good place in our relationship (we've been together almost 12 years) so it just felt like the right time for us 💕💕
I know the thought of it is super scary though!! Honestly telling my parents was terrifying, I literally felt like a pregnant teenager! But they have been soo great, idk why i was so scared lol. And also telling people at work made my skin crawl, but everybody has been minding me too! Everybody is different, but I've had a super smooth pregnancy so far with not many symptoms so I'm very lucky!
Best of luck with your decision xx
