Today our teacher didn't show up because he's on strike so the other teacher decided to watch a movie about two deaf people having sex and the guy killed his dad at some point and the girl got pregnant and the guy killed himself. You know, a typical Dutch movie.
170 Hz a movie by Joost van Ginkel
This movie is a very interesting story about two deaf teenagers, Nick and Evy, who are in love. Because Evy's parents don't aprove of the relationship they run away from home and hide out in an old submarine. The plan is to live there untill Evy is fife months pregnant. There she discovers that Nick has a past he can't quite let go.
While this movie might be a bit difficult to get into, it is a great watch in my opinion.
