I am so thankful to Love & Protect for organizing a beautiful action on MLK Day for 15-year-old Bresha Meadows who's been locked up for 175 days for self-defense (she killed her abusive father). I am also really happy that I was able to represent intersex people of color at the action, because as Saifa Wall reminds us, we need to call-out the linkages between state-violence against people of color and medical industrial complex's violence against intersex people, especially intersex people of color. We're not free, until we all free. FUCK THE PRISON INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX. Also, just while I'm here, Fuck Trump. #175forBresha #FreeBresha (photo cc: love & struggle photos) (at Union Park)
