“What do you think he’s doing?” Chan whispers from the couch he’s hiding behind. Seungkwan and Vernon peek over it, trying their best to decipher the situation themselves.
“Posing?” Vernon states dumbly, and Seungkwan smacks the back of his head.
“Well yeah, duh, but what for?” The three have no answer to that, so they continue to stare on and contemplate.
“Maybe he’s practicing for a shoot,” Chan speaks up. “You know… that one… we have coming up.” They all know it’s a lie; they won’t have a shoot for another week, and Wonwoo never practices for those.
“Maybe it’s for y/n?” Vernon speaks up, and Seungkwan looks ready to smack the back of his head again but then he stops and really processes the words. Vernon, who’s already prepared with a flinch, is surprised when he gets a good pat on the head instead. Seungkwan takes a cookie out of his pocket and hands it to him.
(Chan kinda thinks Vernon acts like Seungkwan’s pet but he’s the youngest, and he’s probably not supposed to say that… he mutters it under his breath anyway.)
“Vernon, I think you’re probably right. Y/n has to have something to do with this, she and Soonyoung are the only ones who can get him to act this stupid.” The three continue to converse, not hearing the footsteps of their subject right behind them.
“Do you three have something you want to talk to me about?” Wonwoo’s face is red, no doubt about it, but his deep timbre frightens the boys to their core nevertheless.
“No.”
“Yes.”
Vernon’s getting another smack for that one later, he just knows it. He tries to correct himself. “We mean… Why are you doing that? Is it for y/n?” He’s guessing he’s right when Wonwoo turns a fantastic shade of cherry, and tries to escape the situation as fast as possible. In his attempt to escape the scene, he accidentally knocks over a book off the coffee table, and the boys are all able to get a good look at it.
