Drawing something different! A dragon of all things! I’ve done numerous ones like this, about 17 to be exact. This’ll make 18. I had to do ABUNDANT research about a dragon called “Naga” they’re central figures in mythology and are depicted as guardians of sacred places and sources of water. A benevolent deity that represents fertility, water, rain and air. A dragon of South and Southeast Asian cultures.
Female Nagas are referred to “Nagini” or “Nagin”. This one, however is named Sesha and her rider Pranjal.
Whether Pranjal inherited Sesha or was chosen by some magical chance, or fate…it’s a bond that’s unbreakable. No words are needed to express or define the relationship between them.
(This is still a sketch and it’s not done yet. She does have tiger stripes on her fur and plenty more details to come. The ends of her tails look like asparagus.) 💀
