Ash-O-Ween #15 is a real doll! Only Stede would take an idea like 1920s flapper and decide that means all over greyscale bodypaint with only two scandalous red highlights!

A nice change of pace, (or whiplash depending on how it switched from ultra edgy to this) but I wanted to have a little fun and draw Anita again. If some of you guys knew me/watched my stuff back in 2023 you'd probably recognise this character. Since my artstyle has changed (for the better) since then, I figured why not draw some stuff with her again. Including some different outfits she would be seen wearing. This was definitely a lot of fun to play around with how I'll approach drawing birds/avian characters in my newer style. I know as well I wanna get as accurate as I can when it comes to the clothing and style too, if you don't know, Stacy's home realm is meant to be almost stuck in the 1920s-1930s. Old black and white films, swing music, all of that are the main forms of inspiration. Of course, I can't always guarantee 100% accuracy (as with any time period I want to reference), but I am trying my best with getting the basics down and not falling into any misconceptions along the way. Maybe that's the history obsessed part of my mind speaking, but I really do like to see genuine accuracy when it comes to pieces of media that tackles a certain time period.
