Jukebox Trouble
The diner was hummin’, the chrome was gleamin’, and three bad boys had the whole joint hotter than the grill.
Wells swung himself up on that jukebox like it had been built just to hold him, thick thighs spread over the chrome, pompadour slick, cigarette hanging from that smug mouth. His white tee was stretched so tight it looked ready to give up and confess. “Easy, daddy-o's,” he purred, dragging slow on his smoke. “A frame like this oughta come with a warning label. Too much horsepower under one hood and the whole place starts steamin’.”
Alton leaned in beside him, jelly roll sharp, leather jacket hugging every inch worth lookin’ at, one thumb hooked in his cuffed jeans like he knew exactly where your eyes had landed. “That’s cute, cool-cat,” he said, flashing that wicked grin. “But let’s not kid ourselves. I’m the one makin’ knees go wobbly. One look at this mug, this jacket, this tight little tee, and suddenly every stud in the room forgets how to sip a milkshake proper.”
Then Trey gave that lazy, bratty smirk from the other side of the jukebox, cigarette glowing between two fingers like he was born to ruin somebody’s reputation. “You two can keep talkin’,” he teased, rolling one shoulder against the leather. “Meanwhile I’m over here servin’ the real special of the day. Sweet enough to tempt you, dangerous enough to make you choke on your cherry soda.”
Wells laughed low and filthy-smooth, shifting off the top of the jukebox like he knew exactly what that did to the room. “Face it, boys. We’re not just a song on the machine. We’re the reason the whole diner’s throbbin’.”
Alton tipped his chin, smoke curling around that sinful smile. “Three real gone heartbreakers in black leather.”
Trey winked at the room like he had everybody wrapped round his little finger. “And daddy-o, business is absolutely bumpin’.”
A couple of cigarettes. A little chrome. A lot of bad intentions.
