Got a call today that an old garage my parents used to store stuff in was being torn down. They hadn’t really done anything with it for many years now, so I drove over to see of they had anything left in there worth saving. Apparently they forgot they had a car in there!!! The car is a 1969 Buick 225 Electra convertible with a 430 C.I. motor. White with red interior. This is one of the few old cars my parents still have from back when I was a kid. we would go out driving Sundays after church/brunch. I always wondered what happened to the car. Now I know! Luckily it had a car cover on it and is somehow rodent free. I checked the fluids threw a battery and some air in the tires. With a little persuasion I got it running and drove it back to there home. The look of shock and slow recognition on there faces was pure gold. Now they are at a loss as to what they are going to do with it! It needs TLC but with a little time and effort it could be a great old car once again!
