P e r s e p h o n e is the middle child born to a squib and a witch. She is the only one out of the three children that i s a s q u i b but came from a family that always told her that even though she lacked magic, that didn’t mean she was less than anyone else. Her family was known to produce a lot of quibs, one generation even had seven brothers who were all squibs. That didn’t mean that they were worthless. She had talents too, they said. For the longest time she didn’t really know what they were but then she started s i n g i n g . She just sang once, at a family get together and blew her parents and the rest of her family away. That is when she realized she had a gift and that she would work on it. That was probably the only thing that would keep her interesting to the wizarding world.

She was around ten when the S q u i b s R i g h t s m a r c h e s took place and she cried as she heard that they had been attacked. She’d always known that squibs such as her father were r e j e c t e d by the magical community but the pure hatred that lived within some for people like them scared her as a child and enraged her as she grew up. It formed her into the d e f i a n t w o m a n she is today, but I digress.

Persy, as she was lovingly called by family and friends, was e d u c a t e d a t a M u g g l e s c h o o l but never felt like one of the Muggles. She had to h i d e the world she lived in and the abilities her mother and her brothers had. The Muggle world was also very ignorant about h o m o s e x u a l i t y and while there were some ignorant wizards and witches, homosexuals such as herself were more easily accepted. While some squibs loved the Muggle world, she really d i d n ’ t f e e l a t h o m e . She was a member of the magical society and she wanted to be seen as such. Her father did tell her to make sure she had a Muggle back up plan, in case she couldn’t find work in the magical community. She eventually chose to study to become a h a i r d r e s s e r , but she never did anything with it.

She preferred to pursue her s i n g i n g c a r e e r and actually started singing at the Leaky Cauldron when she was sixteen. It took her a few years to make a name as a bar singer but now every pub in magical England has heard of the sultry singer Persephone, which is what she goes by when she sings. To get enough money to live on her own, she is now also singing in Muggle London, and she is making quite good money.

Through her singing, she came into contact with a lot of people. She w a s n ’ t v e r y v o c a l about where she stood in the war because she wanted as many fans as she could get, but when asked, she did say what her opinions were. She didn’t like those people that murdered and killed, that was for sure. It was all very strange how she e n d e d u p a l l y i n g w i t h t h e O r d e r o f t h e P h o e n i x but she did.

She is now used to gather information, by e n t e r t a i n i n g D e a t h E a t e r s and people who allied with them, with her singing and s e d u c i n g t h e m . She never slept with any of them, unless it was a lady who was particularly sexy and she never regretted that. She is good at it, just as good as she is at singing. Extracting information and making love, for your information.

It is a dangerous game she is playing, but she supports the Order and they are the ones that she hopes will support her quest for s q u i b r i g h t s after the war. She can’t be too sure, they’re too busy with fighting this war, but she has the highest hopes.

first kiss - sirius black - this is the first person she ever kissed and they began a relationship

first boyfriend - sirius black - they had a fairly normal relationship for teenagers but ended in a tearful break up when persephone realized she wasn’t that into him or any men really. he was upset but didn’t blame her and now, they talk about girls together.

first girlfriend - f - this was the first girl that persephone had a relationship with when she was sixteen. this is also the person she slept with for the first time. they can be a year younger than persephone up to five years older than her. we can discuss whether or not they’re on good terms now.

ex-girlfriend - emmeline vance - when persephone was 20 years old, she got into a casual relationship with emmeline but when persephone started falling for her, and they gt into relationship, emmeline ended their relationship. they were awkward around each other at first, but now have a deep respect for each other and are now very good friends.

ex-girlfriend - f - i can see her having had two more girlfriends after that. these relationships could have lasted up to two years. other than that, all can be discussed.

friends with benefits - f - persephone now has a woman she sleeps with when she needs to get her rocks off, but they’re not romantic at all. she is either a neutral or an order member.

flirt will turn to sexual affair - narcissa malfoy - persephone doesn’t feel bad about sleeping with married women, as she isn’t the one married but once she sleeps with this woman, she might wish she never had... maybe.

FOR DEATH EATERS: i have some ideas. i would love to have persephone have a love affair with a death eater or an ally to the dark lord. i need a death eater female or multiple she has made out with or slept with, as well as death eater men she has made out with. one death eater man could be her ‘only guy’ as in, the only man she’d sleep with.

FOR ORDER MEMBERS AND NEUTRALS: i really would love to see a love affair here too, a current crush, an ex-girlfriend who is still in love with persephone and the other way around. i could also see someone who used to be close to persephone but when my character developed feelings, it got awkward.

best friend - f/m/x - they have been best friends for a while and always have each other’s back, we can discuss the details.

friends - james potter - james and persephone are friends, though she does make him sulk by flirting with his wife, and in her opinion, she is quite good at it.

friends - lily potter - lily and persephone are friends. persephone loves little baby harry because she loves all babies and she enjoys messing with james’ head by flirting with lily, who generally is in on the joke.

friends - andromeda tonks - andromeda and persephone are friends. persephone adores dora and lets the little girl do what she wants. she doesn’t even care about her image around the little girl and will wear, say and do whatever the little one asks. she also really likes andy and tries to make her feel good about herself and give her a laugh and some company.

the mom friend - natasha bones - natasha is the friend that persephone kind of hates to love, but not really. she always feels bad for worrying her but the position she is in just means she is in danger constantly. natasha couldn’t be deterred from putting up protective spells around her house though, and well... that is where persephone’s love for her friend comes from. she looks out for her and to be honest, she needs a friend like natasha where she can be herself and be vulnerable.

drinking buddies - edgar bones - he waits until the end of her set and waits for her with a whiskey. they talk about their day, the shitty parts of life, the good parts sometimes and are just generally good friends. he also patrols areas when she’s with death eaters to try and prevent her death, which she appreciates.

singing tutor/student - f/m/x - someone who coaches persephone or who is coached by persephone.

FOR DEATH EATERS: i need someone who is suspicious of persephone quite badly but i also need people that try to get her to join the dark army, who actually get her to consider it. i think someone who doesn’t like her is always handy, someone who is mean about her being a squib which i could totally see happening.

FOR ORDER MEMBERS: i need friends, as well as people who question her loyalties and her methods, maybe someone who kind of slut shames her? i know that is a lot to ask, but if you have an asshole character or someone who just isn’t very tactful and doesn’t mean it badly, they’re welcome.
