Lesley-Anne Down first wore this purple gown as Madeline Fabray LaMotte in the 1985 miniseries 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉. It was worn again in 1993 by Jane Seymour as Dr. Michaela Quinn in the television series 𝑫𝒓. 𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒏, 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏.

Still one of my favorite Nickelodeon TV Shows after all this time!

That sweet moment in “Roseanne” when everyone gathered around in the backyard and sang songs.

So, I don’t really know what people think or have to say about this show, but I still believe it’s an untouchable masterpiece. That whole mess about Roseanne’s comments on Twitter got blown SO out of proportion and it is astonishing to witness how quickly people forget the true character of Roseanne Barr beyond her words. I still think it’s especially mind-boggling how a female entertainer is held to a higher social responsibility than some of the people who actually run the country (which is a reality that tends to reveal our overall areas of opportunity as a society). Politicians have more of a social responsibility and yet it seems like today we have a free-for-all in regards to political sophistication (and just overall cognizance of the time) - which may or may not have a detrimental influence over society as we may come to understand.

According to the “interwebs” hahahaha... Tim Allen had briefly touched upon Roseanne’s comments stating “That’s not the Rosie I know..” and he actually spoke to her defense as someone who he has always known to be respectful & appreciative of all walks of life.

Personally, I believe no one can take away all of the years of genuinely good work that went into the show “Roseanne” and the values & good messages found in the stories. I don’t see any reason to watch “The Conners” because having “Roseanne” without ROSEANNE is just plain STUPID & POINTLESS. If you remove the heart, mind, and soul of a body you have no life - and that’s what “The Conners” has - No Life. It just makes the legacy of Roseanne’s perfect 10 seasons that much sweeter to me as someone who will always be loyal to that show (as it has a profound purpose amidst the history of American TV shows).

After all is said and done - we all learn from our own mistakes no matter who ya are or where ya come from. That’s my opinion - take it or leave it.

This dude is totally AWESOME for actually going to the REAL location where “Hey Dude” was filmed in the 90s.

KiM! showed this to me and I think it’s totally awesome that the actual set from Hey Dude is still around, but I wish it were preserved more (why not a Hey Dude Museum? or something Nickelodeon-friendly?)… I understand it wasn’t necessarily a ground-breaking television show or anything so there doesn’t seem to be much interest in preserving what is there, but what a shame. It’s like - it’s still there - that by itself is really awesome, so I’m thankful.

Still one of my favorite TV characters ever: Al Borland from “Home Improvement”!

Fun Fact: Richard Karn was working as an Apartment Building Manager while acting as ‘Al Borland’ during the entire first season of Home Improvement due to the uncertainty as to whether or not the show was going to take off or not. Obviously the show became a hit show and he ended up being becoming a household name (and of course he had to end his management career).

Family Matters

I still think this show ROCKS and is so good and so funny (WALDO GERALDO FALDO) with all of it’s Urkel glory.

Fun fact: The character Harriette Winslow first appeared in another well-known and hilarious show in it’s own right - “Perfect Strangers”.

Family Matters is still my favorite TV show opening theme out of all of them (it’s so dang uplifting and upbeat).
