Am I the only one kind of missing CO? I hate the idea of JB keeping $ from them and obv everything else, but damn do I wish some streamer would reboot it so I can see what looniness Jessa is up to and what Jana’s got going on in the garden.

What I really miss are the 'kids and counting' seasons tbh. I did like Counting On sometimes just bc I'm always curious what these bozos are up to but when I had COVID I did a partial rewatch of both and CO feels kinda sanitized comparatively........there are like obviously scripted parts in both but the CO ones somehow don't add anything interesting lol, it's all plots like "today we took down a tree" and "jana does a craft with the kids".

Most of the Duggars have youtubes these days if you're wondering what they're up to, Jessa's is the only one I sometimes watch but it's decent. Jana does have one but hasn't updated it for like a year.

Basically it says they cancelled 19KAC years ago and Josh doesn't appear on Counting On so it isn't their problem.

We’re the Duggars

That’s me, I’m Michelle, there’s Jim Bob, my WONDERFUL husband

and our children!

Josh is our oldest. He married Anna, and they have our first grandchildren - Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason and Maryella! You’ll sometimes see him in the background, but he’s not allowed to be on our show anymore!

Then there’s Jana.

Next is John-David! He married Abbie, and they share our granddaughter, Gracie!

Jill! She married Derrick, and they have our grandsons Israel and Samuel, but we don’t talk about them or invite them to any family gatherings.

Jessa - She married Ben, and they have three children: Spurgeon, Henry, and Ivy!

Jinger! She married Jeremy. They have two daughters, Felicity and another one arriving this Winter!

Next is Joseph, he married Kendra and together they have Garret, Addison, and a little tie breaker on the way.

Then there’s Josiah. He married Lauren and they have our granddaugther Bella!

Joy-Anna. She married Austin, and they have Gideon, and our latest, precious addition to our number of grandchildren, Evie Mae.

Then there’s Jeremiah, Jedediah, Jason, and James!

Next up is Justin! He just got engaged to wonderful Claire!

and our precious youngest daugther

That’s a grand total of 20 children and 20 grandchildren!

hi, i’m angelina and i’m not technically new to fundie tumblr, i just made a new blog! (i was @duggarlanded!)

i’m really looking forward to continuing to chat, analyze and snark with y’all ♡

here are a few fun facts about me  —

i’m 20 years old!

i first tuned in to the duggar family around season 2 when i was 9 years old. (i’d watch 19KAC whenever i was home sick from school hehe)

i research cults + true crime and love literary analysis!

i have a background (am i  even old enough to have an academic background in something?) in Literary Criticism

i talk a lot and i’m very childlike so beware!!

i’m Mexican-American and speak fluent Spanish so sometimes my commentary is founded on my Latin culture

i voluntarily joined a cultish, fundie-esque church when i was 12. i was dealing with mental health issues and seeking God again after growing up Catholic and being greatly involved in the Catholic church from ages 7-11. i left the fundie church when i was 14-15 and am still recovering from the damage its ideologies caused.

i am HIGHLY sympathetic/empathetic towards fundies because of it. i witnessed first hand the brainwashing children go through and grow up with and i wish more people realized this damage doesn’t disappear once someone turns 18. for that reason, i don’t snark a lot towards them, where many see ridiculousness and ignorance i see a child that was raised with hatred and abuse.

i’m a romeo and juliet enthusiast!

my “faves” are Lauren, Kendra, Jeremiah, Jana, Joy, Kaylee Rodrigues, and sometimes Jessa. (i’m partial to Nurie too, i just want to protect all the Rodrigues kids!)

i have this pipedream of rescuing my king Jer and falling in love bc i have a thing for white boys :/
