what made you change your mind and decide to watch it? i started it because i saw it all over my dash and was curious about it. i wasn't totally sold after the first episode, but by the end of the second when they introduced cosima i was like "okay this is witchcraft and i love it" haha. and yeah, the screening was a couple days before the episode so everyone had to keep her not-death a secret for a bit! i felt a little evil talking to friends and pretending she was dead, but it was fun haha

i really wanted to understand what was going on because i somehow followed a bunch of people who posted about it (canadians i guess because i follow a lot of people who like the canadian singer Lights).

it took a whole season for me to really like it. haha yeah, it does seem like witchcraft! 

li would have to not even go on tumblr until it aired so i don’t accidentally say anything, haha. that’s so awesome, though! you were a temporary agent with secret info lol

did you start the show that night or did you start by watching the season 2 premiere? i'd think the latter would be alarmingly confusing haha. the screening was really cool! i had never gone to any type of fan event before so it was really fun, and seeing some of the cast was awesome. i think my favorite part about it though was how like 200+ people saw the helena reveal and yet nobody leaked it. clone club's a pretty rad fandom.

oh i started s1 that night. i missed the s2 premiere because I binge watched s1 through it lol. i really thought the show was stupid when i first heard of it, but i only thought that from seeing stuff on my dash and being angry at how often i saw it. what made you watch OB?

yeah, this fandom is definitely the best i’ve been in. everyone seems pretty mature and loyal.

5. Talk about the best birthday you ever had

My sixteenth birthday, by a long shot. My parents didn’t force me to celebrate it for once, and the weather was unseasonably mild, so I just chilled on the back porch all day. And then the next day my grandma and aunt came over for dessert and coffee and gave me 16 Candles on DVD, because of course they did.

10. Talk about the biggest fight you’ve ever had

I mean, the largest scale fight I’ve ever been a part of was basically the entirety of April - June 2006. Gabby was there. But also my mom and I have had a series of “discussions” that are really just her being mad at me for no reason, soooo take your pick.

15. Talk about the time you were most content in life

The second semester of my sophomore year of college was pretty comfortable and easy. Good classes, good friends, good roommates, didn’t visit home too often, good TV… I can’t really remember having any complaints about it. That was also the last Tumblr-less part of my life, actually, which probably says a lot.

20. Talk about something that happened in high school

Jesus, there are so many directions this could take… Oh, here’s one I was thinking about the other day. One time in PE junior year, I jammed my finger playing basketball, tried to play through it, and then just stood off to the side for a bit and waiting to see if the pain would die down. A bunch of my friends didn’t realize I was hurt, started talking to me as an excuse to not participate, and my gym teacher got pissed at me for it. I was like, “No, I’m not just being lazy, I can’t bend my ring finger at all right now.” He was like, “Neither can I. Hurt it in an accident. Go participate.” Then another gym teacher told us all to go change in the locker room because the period was almost over. Five years later and that finger I hurt is still angled wrong.

25. Talk about an ex-best friend.

I broke off a long distance best friendship when I was eleven because she started getting into bad hip hop and yoga. Years later, she friended me on Facebook and it turns out she’s also into silent movies, so I kinda dropped the ball on that one. But at least we have an amicable social media friendship now.

30. Talk about what turns you off.

Nothin’ kills a mood faster than rudeness and offensive jokes.

35. Talk about things you wish you could stop doing.

This is not at all what this question means, but if I could stop forgetting to bring food to work that would be SUPER great for me.

40. Talk about the end of something in your life.

For a REALLY long time — as long far back as I can remember, really, until I was about fourteen — I hated cigarette smokers with the same intensity that The Westboro Baptist Church hates pretty much everything. Then I developed a really intense crush on someone who I only ever saw in a location that constantly smelled like cigarettes. It turned out disastrously, but I never shook the association… until I started dating my boyfriend, whose parents are smokers, So yeah. I’ll never hate cigarettes quite the same way again.
