this is so stupid but rewatching one direction interviews and revisiting their music in 2023 are so bittersweet actually because it will never be the same. even if they come back tomorrow. it's all water under the bridge. so many things have happened since then and so many bridges are burnt. it will never be the same and we can't go back. yes the night changed and so did me and you.

sometimes you're like oh i will always love this band and i will always remember them fondly. they, for better or for worse, shaped my adolescence. i've listened to their discography for hours and funny one direction moments compilations on youtube have brought me so much happiness and i'm glad for all the friends i made through them and the fun memories but now i've grown out of their music :) and i really don't care if they come back or not. that chapter ended years ago. and sometimes you're shaking ur ass to no control and watching 1d day and curling up in bed crying because you miss one band one dream one direction. and somehow they're still up there on your spotify wrapped top 5 artists.
