So...while I was cleaning out my Tumblr account, I accidentally deleted this artwork I posted shortly after Unus Annus ended, and I'm pretty bummed out about it. Anyways, here it is again 🙃
One thing I will never forget about unus annus is during the Definitely not shibari video of Ethan tying Mark “the bear” up they briefly pan to the site that they’re using and I IMMEDIATELY recognised it as a site I browsed through when I first hyperfixated on kink and found out about shibari and the proper ropes to get and proper ties
Five years ago on this day, two youtubers started a channel.
Four years ago on this day, the two youtubers deleted said channel, and all 369 videos with. One for each day of the year. Plus a little extra.
I can't say I watched every video, but the ones I did left an impact that has me quoting their antics to this day. Mark and Ethan created something special, and I just wanted to write something in memorial to that strange but wonderful time in youtube history.
To quote a song from Wicked, "I have been change for good".
