Bon Jovi originally envisioned the New Jersey project as a double-LP, using the working title Sons Of Beaches. But in the end, Mercury Records released the album as a 12-track single LP and the band renamed it simply New Jersey, in honor of their home state. With this Deluxe Edition, the New Jersey originally imagined by Bon Jovi can finally be shared with fans.

Topping off this Super Deluxe edition is a 60-page book including rare and never before seen images of the band from the New Jersey era; images and memorabilia from the New Jersey world tour; insider commentary on the bonus tracks and much more.

So I watched my DVD of This Is Us yesterday and it's amazing how different the sound is when you're in a home theatre instead of at the cinema. The audio mixing of the concert footage is easier to parse when it's not blasted at you from all sides, and I noticed an interesting thing or two. I want to try and compare with other bands' concert DVDs first, though, because I'm not sure what's standard nowadays.
Other than the concert footage, though, I mean, it's cute and everything, but yeah, it basically sucks. I'd far rather have a straight-up concert DVD of the TMH tour. And could they not have filmed on one of the nights when Louis' hair wasn't dreadful?? >_<
