Protecting their young I was out for a walk with the dog last night in Lorenzo's walk, Hare Warren. It's an interesting little stretch of woodland and part of the larger Grovely landscape.

Can I be honest? I'm so excited for how these images came out from tonight's #proposal! On a side note I think I set a new record for #SameDayEdit and image turn around 😎⠀ ⠀ For #Photographers this image was shot with a #canon #1DXII with a 70-200 2.8L IS II. Settings were 1/80 f4.5 and ISO 3200. It's the little things that hold it all together... What's the first thing you see in the photo? My guess is either the the #camera, in this case a @canonusa #1DXII or the massive 70-200 lens as they are the biggest things in the photo, but look closer. What's keeping this whole setup safe, secure, and not falling into the snow? One tiny piece of #gear that is able to secure it all together is the @spiderholster lens collar plate. The reason why it's worth noting is unlike other plates you could use is this is braced in the rear so It can't turn and loosen itself while in use while at the same time holding your camera balanced in the middle the way the manufacturer intended. Whether I'm shooting outdoors on in the studio all day not having my tripod plate loosen up is a win to me.
