Brrr! It is so cold here in Montana right now. The temperature is anywhere from -1 to -11 depending on which forecast I look at. The weather is so unpredictable at times. It would be a challenge to be a forecaster and keep everyone happy.

We're not pregnant, but we are expecting in 2016. Through our sabbatical, the Lord has led us to begin the process to become foster/adoptive parents. We are now done with the training and paperwork, and could have our license as soon as March. We know that becoming parents will bring many changes into our lives, but we plan to maintain an active lifestyle in Seattle (hiking especially). So as we close the chapter of the sabbatical and retire our well traveled and heavily worn boots we open a new chapter and get ourselves a few new pairs.
God does not love us because we are valuable, we are valuable because God loves us.
