If you're a Klaine person and have any of these linked things saved, in any capacity, at all, please contact me and give them to me because I'm really heartbroken about all of this okay bye.
Klaine decorating for Christmas!
His mother’s perfume bottle is always the first ornament on the tree. Kurt smells the bottle and traces his fingers over the grooves of the glass before he hangs it on one of the sturdier branches.
He can feel Blaine watching him; only a few steps away and Kurt turns to him, smiling, eyes gleaming.
“I made something for you,” Blaine says softly, “a new tradition for the second ornament.” Blaine opens his hands to reveal a small, red drum with a number 5 painted across the top.
“It’s perfect, Blaine,” Kurt rasps, tearing up. “He would have loved it.”
Anonymous asked: Can you do a Klaine drabble about that second kiss in 2.16 that got cut off by that damn red piano? Obvs it was a bit more passionate than their first ;)
A/N: I realized that I don't think I've ever read an extension of this scene from Blaine's perspective. It's always Kurt's. Weird. Another one that I started ages ago and just decided to finish.
"You're trembling," Kurt breathed, sliding his nose along Blaine's cheek, his lips catching the edge of Blaine's mouth. Kurt was right, but how could he not be? His nipples had tightened into stiff peaks after Kurt had sucked Blaine's tongue into his mouth and his leg burned from where Kurt's hand rested, his thumb rubbing circles into the thin skin of Blaine's thigh through his uniform pants, the other hand twisted in the small hairs at the back of Blaine's head, causing Blaine's spine to melt into his toes, sending little shockwaves of pleasure to every skin-raw nerve with each tender movement.
"You're so--," Blaine cut himself off, lurched forward to kiss Kurt, square on the mouth, again. He wasn't even sure what he meant to say, sexy, beautiful, gorgeous, devastating, all were true. His lips were sore and his chest was tight, felt like he couldn't really breathe, because now that he'd seen Kurt, now that he'd kissed him, oh god and they were kissing weren't they. Nothing chaste, just hot mouths pressing together with the slip-slide of slick tongues and this was Kurt.
Blaine moaned into Kurt's mouth, sliding his fingers around the edges of Kurt's cardigan and tugging. Closer, he needed Kurt closer, he needed to drown in this boy. Blaine felt Kurt shiver against him and tremble.
"You're trembling, too," Blaine whispers in Kurt's ear, kissing his way back to Kurt's mouth, he pulls back for a moment, reveling in the flush spreading across Kurt's cheeks and pulls Kurt into another kiss.
The New Year
A/N: So...I found this in my drafts today, it wasn't entirely finished and I couldn't remember what the original ending was supposed to be and yes, I totally wrote this on New Year's Eve, but I was also super sick so I didn't finish or post. So...here you go?
~~~~~~
They'd done the Times Square thing the year before, the first year that they were back together and together together in New York and enjoying the city and all it had to offer. They'd been surrounded by the tens of thousands of people, the ear shattering cheering. They were there for the ball dropping, the communal countdown, and the confetti. They'd been there to kiss.
This year was quieter, not by a whole lot, not since Rachel had taken it upon herself to throw a New Year's Train Wreck Extravaganza, but there were fewer people packed into the loft than there were crammed onto Broadway.
10, 9, 8
People chanted. Kurt grinned at the people around him, joining in on the countdown, but Blaine only had eyes for Kurt.
7, 6, 5
Blaine's heart pounded in his chest, each beat running faster than the last.
4, 3, 2
He pulled Kurt into his arms, whispering the countdown a few inches from Kurt's mouth.
1
Blaine wasn't sure which of them had leaned in first, but one moment there was air between them and then Kurt's lips were on his, arms around his neck, clutching him closer. Blaine pulled back from the kiss with a wet smack, but couldn't let go of the man in his arms.
"I love you," Blaine said, pressing another kiss to Kurt's mouth.
"I love you, too."
"Thanks for being my first kiss of the new year."
"Play your cards right, mister," Kurt teased, "and I'll be your first kiss next year, too."
"How about the year after that?"
"We'll see." Kurt shrugged, but smiled at Blaine.
"Kurt...you are the love of my life, my first love, and my first of many other things, and I want you to be my first kiss of the year of every year for the rest of my life. Will you please do me the honor of marrying me?"
"Yes! Of course, yes!" Kurt launched himself at Blaine, pressing their lips together hard.
While their celebrations and traditions would change, just as the numbers would on the calendar each year, Blaine knew, that as long as Kurt was there, in his arms, every new year would be one worth celebrating.
