The calm before the storm. This the Joint Task FORCE 1058th GTC, 2nd Platoon, known as the Jokers Squad, out of FOB Speicher, 2004. We were the first USAF personnel to be used in Joint Task Force with the 1st Infantry Division of the US Army. In 2004, over 500 Airmen joined the ranks of combat veterans while providing convoy security. Their efforts were considered going above and beyond the call of Duty as this was a role and a mission unasked of any other Airmen in the history of the USAF. SSgt. Jeremy S.
