Am I worthy of Christ? Am I realizing that I can be forgiven? All men are sinners and even Paul, the chief missionary of the church, says “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”— and I AM WORST OF THEM ALL." Paul was a great sinner. He knew it. He never got over the fact that he persecuted, tortured, and killed those who had believed that Jesus was the promised Messiah (1 Corinthians 15.9). . But God showed him mercy because he acted ignorantly in unbelief (verse 13). To Paul, God revealed the “gospel of the grace of God” by believing that Christ died for one’s sins. God's mercy changed him from great sinner to great apostle. . Don't belittle the mercy of God saying that you cannot be changed! For His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23) . Remember that Paul was saved so can you. When God forgives you in Christ, He does so righteously, uprightly, and openly. All you need to do is receive it. The more like Christ you become, the more you exalt Christ and not yourself. . .
