You know what people don't talk about enough? That in Tim Burtons Batman Harvey Dent was played by Billy Dee Williams who most famously played Lando Calrissian in Star wars
And was replaced by Tommy Lee Jones two movies later
And no one said anything.
The Dark Knight trilogy, review
Just watched the trilogy for first time and it's amazing literally greatest work. Never seen someone like this, best scenes, acting, and amazing story, just watch it.
Batman is always been a character/figure of justice and in every decade Batman character is experimented with different styles of film-making, like Tim Burton & Joel Schumacher Batman series (1989–1997), Batman: The Animated Series (1992–1995) by Bruce Timm, then Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Ben Affleck's Batman and now upcoming Robert Pattinson's The Batman (2022). This character and story really have something that every generation of people [[MORE]]want to experience and maybe that's why every time this character has experimented with different styles.
This Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight' trilogy is one of the greatest movies in the 21st century. We all know Christopher Nolan for his unique film style like Inception, Interstellar, and Tennet, it always brings something different and unique.
The reason why the Dark Knight trilogy is so great is its realistic storytelling. Yeah, we know that Batman is already a different character that actually looks realistic but Christopher Nolan's storytelling brings a more realistic version. Batman: The Dark Knight, the 2nd in the trilogy is best than others. The first movie 'Batman Begins' helps to add dept in batman's character, by showing the journey of becoming the legend and last movie 'Dark Knight Rises' is like a farewell to Batman (specifically retirements of Batman or Bruce Wayne as batman) with emotional touch which actually works, and gives the feel of a real story and the end of legacy with the dawn of the new world. And the movie 'The Dark Knight' is most important as it includes Joker, one of the best villains of Batman. I think initially Christopher Nolan had a plan of making only 2 movies because there was no story connection for the next movie but it was necessary to give proper farewell for batman's character. The Dark Knight shows the reality of the real world how it is divided into rich and poor. If you know the Joker, this character represents the true evil nature of humans and is exactly the opposite version of Batman, who supports the ideology of having power in the people and not to the governing body. To know more about the Joker character watch Todd Phillips's Joker, a story from the perspective of the joker how he sees the world and that is too true.
At last 'The Dark Knight trilogy' is one of the best works of the 21st century, by the great mind of Christopher Nolan, David S. Goyer and best cast like Christian Bale, Heath Ledger (exceptional acting, just see it) and Tom Hardy (as Bane). And obviously the awesome background score.
Recommended to everyone, probably everyone.
