sorry for #sportsblogging but aldksgjdfl i need to put my favourite team on blast
the fucking captain, jarryn geary, has just come off a long break from a pretty gnarly injury -- corkie in his right thigh escalated to severe internal bleeding (major TW for blood and surgery, there are photos), now he’s left with a fucking huge scar -- then! in his fucking first game back he broke his own leg (in the video at 5:37)
shouldn’t have been so sure they’d be on their way to finals this year, they’ve all dropped off the bloody perch.
