Couldn’t even feel the relief of the flood warnings being lifted before my sister handed me a neonatal kitten
The beans were so full of beans this morning! Today they are 14 days old! Their eyes and ears started opening a couple days ago and they're using their back legs to walk a lot more. This morning they practiced their walking and practiced making all sorts of noises.
Up until this point moving and making noise was almost exclusively about finding food or finding a warm/cool place to sleep and noise was about communicating distress or need. In this morning's video you can see there's more confusion than urgency
Puppies turned 2 weeks old today! Eyes are opening and they're getting lots of spots in! Soon they will be little doggies... 🥹
These are the girls, the top 3 are long coats (which take longer for their spots to grow in.)
I LOVE GEORGES FRIENDS like Dream and Sapnap obviously you can’t outdo the doer but like larray and neeko 😞 he’s so loved our kitten
hes like a little endearing kitten no one can resist is babyboy cuteness😭😭😭😭

I'm going to write here because it's my anonymous safe space.
I am fucking tired. I forgot how trying these first few weeks with a new baby can be. He is wonderful and I love him, but he is on a nocturnal schedule and I am losing my mind. I got 90 minutes of sleep last night. My husband goes back to work today after his 2 weeks of paternity leave. I felt those cold fingers of PPD creeping in last night as I tried and failed for the 6th time to get him down to sleep in his bassinet. I'm medicated after my first pregnancy when PPD hit me hard, so I haven't felt it much, but last night it was fierce. There is just something about being alone and frustrated at 4:00 am that causes the tears to flow.
Motherhood is hard.
Here's a picture of those sweet cheeks to keep me on check. Because he really is wondeful.... ❤
A reminder that there is some Very Important Poultry in the Beak Bunk.
Smol, but excessively opinionated.
Look at this!
They look like a stuffed animal, are you kidding me?
