2 weeks postpartum ♥
Being a mother is such a rewarding feeling.
So it has been 2 weeks and 4 days since I gave birth to my beautiful son.
to be honest I did not know what I was expecting my body to look like after my labour. Silly me assumed I would...’snapback’ *rolls eyes*. As you can see, I am far from it. I am not as blessed as my friend who snapped back from both pregnancies.
I cannot do exercise till six weeks time all though my midwife reckons I will not be able to as during my labour I got 3rd degree tearing when pushing Nour out. I am still in discomfort pain and healing is definitely a process. We haven’t left the house since Nour was born as I just want to rest with my baby. Dealing with a stitched up Vagina and a newborn at the same time I just don’t have the motivation to even use my pram for the first time.
My stomach is very loose and saggy but still looking a few months preggo. Midwife says my uterus has not gone down yet so I could have a smaller stomach in 2 weeks time. But we’ll see.
Still looking quite chubby and rounded in the face, although I have been slowly getting used to my weight gain since i hit 5/6 months pregnant. But once baby arrives, worrying about your appearance is the last thing on your mind.
Hopefully my next post will be of the little one. I really want to show him off more.
His hair is beginning to curl! did’nt inherit daddy’s straight hair afterall :’0
xx ♥
Wash Day (2 weeks post)
[1] I started off by doing a hot oil treatment with a mix of all my oils for overnight. [2] Shampooed with Paul Mitchell smoothing Shampoo [3] Deep conditioned with Replenishing conditioner for one hour.
[4] AVC rinse.
[5] Applied Paul Mitchell Smoothing Super Skinny Daily treatment then rinse.
[6] Applied my leave ins: Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum and Activilong conditioning Balsam
[7]let my hair air dry
[8] detangled my hair.
. [9] Then I applied Activilong conditioning Balsam leave-in and seal with grapeseed oil
Bilan: I have experienced breakage by deep conditioning using ORS replenishing conditioner, I heard on Hairlista it was because of a protein overload.
