why cut out scramm? why cut out abraham? why minimize stebbins? why cast your biggest name as a guy whose face you can barely see? why make your biggest name a guy who can't even act? why make 80% of your cast guys who can't act? why completely discount everything that made the book interesting in favor of doing nothing? why narrowly avoid a racist ending and still make the ending pretty racist? why make the lighting so nice if you're still not going to light the dark-skinned characters' faces right?
