"Everything Is Being Handled"
(2.16.18)
Update 2.15.18
The last few days have been incredibly exhausting, but I'm feeling very optimistic this morning that things are getting back on track.
Last night I submitted my REU application— the personal statement and CV felt like a massive weight and I was frozen in the stress of it. I still don't have a letter of recommendation or even an email response from one of the professors I asked, even though she has already written one for me and literally just needs to read her email and upload it. This means my application is incomplete, but I've done everything that I can do, and that is a relief.
This evening I'll finally get to spend some quality time with S, and after our argument on Tuesday and my general stress of the week it feels long overdue.
I have a nutrition appointment later, and I've been on track since my last one, so I'm quite hopeful I'll get permission to swim.
I slept in this morning, then I spent a few hours with my best friend M, just talking and catching up and doing a bit of homework at a coffee shop. I skipped physics class to spend more time with her (and more time working on my online physics homework). I hate physics class, even though I find the content interesting. I just sit through lecture and work on my own anyways.
I have a test later in combinatorics, and if I have time I'd like to review more, but honestly, I'm quite prepared.
And I remembered to take my meds today :P

My nutritionist wants me to continue abstaining from swimming bcos she doesn't want it to lead to a set back.
I understand her reasoning, but at the same time, I'm incredibly frustrated and I want to be able to spend my Thursday afternoons swimming with my boyfriend (on days I don't have appointments). Blah.
I've been on track since our last appointment. Maybe I can convince my bf to hang out with me on Thursdays instead of swimming. He swims on Tuesdays too.
