That is a pretty nice Daytona. Stock motor? I always liked that front end over the flip up.
It's mostly stock. It's got upgraded injectors, manual boost controller, and a Mopar Performance computer. Other than that the drivetrain is bone stock. The current long block isn't original to the car; it's out of a low mileage 84 Daytona parts car I had. The long block itself has never been apart; it's only had a couple timing belt replacements and one camshaft end seal. I've got a new short block on a stand ready to replace it someday. The new engine has ARP wave-loc rod bolts and the piston skirts have a moly coating and the crowns are ceramic coated. I've also got a Shelby 2 piece intake manifold to go on it and I'll convert it to full Turbo II status. I've also got an 87 Shelby CSX computer to finish out the upgrade. The 84 - 86 G Body cars are my favorites. Besides this one I've owned a 84 Daytona, an 85 Laser, and a host of other 80s turbo Dodges.
