It seemed like it was going to be a slow day. A few hours on the ramp yielded only one ride, which took me one exit over. However, while resting at the Loves, a friendly construction worker on break gave me five dollars, and wished me well. The ramp was very very dead, but just as the sun was starting to set, a middle aged man in an older Mustang convertible pulled up, taking me all the way to Lake City, within a days walk of Jacksonville.
