My sister introduced me to The Clash at an early age and pretty much all through my childhood, I just willing accepted that there was a Clash song where they- for no particular fucking reason- just threw in a snippet of an ad for a toilet cleaner. I never knew which song it was. I simply always knew that I might hear that woman explaining "2,000 flushes" in the middle of ANY Clash song and I was okay with that.
Today I had my music on shuffle and “Inoculated City” came on and I was like “OKAY what fucking song is this?!”
