Greg Caruso is the operator of only official ferry on the Appalachian Trail. Greg paddles his canoe back and forth on the Kennebec River at the point where the AT crosses just outside Caratunk. The bottom of his canoe has a small white blaze painted on it to mark it as the official route on the Appalachian Trail.
