T/N: ¹”Pouring Rain, Roaring Thunder” is a pretty loose translation of the title. “Zaza” is just the sound of something. It can be used for hard, heavy rain, for static, for white noise, and for anything else that might have a long, consistent sound. This is all consistent in the lyrics. “Thunder” is a liberal choice for the word “nari,” which just means to make a sound. However, I did attempt to reference “thundering” and “pouring” during the chorus to stay consistent with the translation.
