Watched 5.04... again.... anyway... I noticed Cas looking at Dean’s chest-region and knowing it’s not the Dean from 2014. I wonder what Misha chose to look at, and what he was thinking during the scene, how he decided it convinced Cas. I’m pretty sure it’s the clothes but it’s unclear.

I don’t think Cas still has soul peering powers at that time, but maybe. Maybe he was just directed there and wasn’t told, or maybe he knew it was his coverage and could look anywhere, but it’s an interesting scene/detail non-the-less.
