Cebu... B!
12-06-10 Magellan's Cross Basilica de Sto. Nino Fort San Pedro SM City Cebu Ayala Center Cebu Crown Regency Hotel (Skywalk and Edge Coaster)
Wow! Philippines #24: CEBU
Historical Places: Magellan's Cross, Basilica de Sto. Nino, Fort San Pedro
Why Wow! Philippines #24? Because this is the 24th place I've been to here in our country. And I'm proud to say that at the age of 24, I was able to visit 24 different beautiful and really awesome places (my foreign travels not included). So here's what happened during my 24th Philippine adventure:
I was supposed to attend the Philippine E-learning Society (PELS) Conference with Sir D2 here in Cebu but due to unforeseen circumstances and the effect of what transpired during the PPTA Convention last weekend (which, I'm telling you is one of the worst things that ever happened to me this year), we just decided to treat ourselves with a "Cebu-our-own-day-tour". I think we deserve this naman.
Photoshoot kuno! Taking advantage of the nice spots.
Naku, pinagsama mo pa kami ni D2, e pareho kaming mahilig magpa-picture! Ayan, pose pose. Haha!
Ate Lotis and her friend Rose
I'm glad I was able to meet up and have dinner with the pretty pretty, Ate Lotis! She is a former officemate of my parents when they were still working in National Food Authority (Or. Mindoro). She now resides in Cebu with her husband and regularly visits her two kids in Mindoro once a month. Thanks Ate Lotis for the Gustavian buffet dinner! Winner talaga!
Crown Regency Skywalk and Edge Coaster
After dinner, we headed straight from Ayala Center Cebu to Crown Regency. I think this is the highlight of our Cebu trip and it was really worth it! They even gave us certificates as proof that we survived the Skywalk and the Edge Coaster ride! Haha! Pero promise, tumalon ang puso ko dun sa Edge Coaster ride lalo na nung mag-50 degrees tilt sya. And muntik na talaga ako ma-wee-wee when I was walking sa glass bottom ng Skywalk. (ohmigosh, na-wee-wee ako pag naaalala ko! demmet!)
Look, I have two certificates! Di nga lang galing sa PELS Conference!
Even if I missed the conference, masaya pa rin ako. Kahit na very short lang ng trip namin, it was all worth it naman! Thank you Lord for keeping us safe and letting us enjoy this trip.

EdTech Christmas Party and Mam Ninia's "24th" Birthday :D
December 13, 2010 EdTech Center, Main Library, UST After the morning practical exams, I (with Sir D2) went to the EdTech Center to join my co-ETEACHs and EdTech peeps to celebrate Mam Ninia's birthday. We shared a sumptuous lunch then we exchanged gifts right after some of the EdTech peeps showcased their talents. :)
I really enjoyed the "left-right" modus of exchanging gifts. It's the second most fun way of exchanging gifts I've ever experienced (next to PPTA's gift grabbing). It was fun and it was fast. :D I kinda liked how everyone looked so happy while shouting "RIIIIGHT!" or "LEFFFT!", at the same time excited about which gift are they going to receive. :D I received a very nice pen. I just shouted "Thanks kung kanino man 'to galing!" coz the gift has no card on it. I didn't get to know who gave it. Nevertheless, I liked it. Thanks again, whoever you are. :)
PPTA Educators' Christmas Party 2010
December 9, 2010 Yakimix, Tomas Morato My favorite japanese eat-all-you-can place + the hardworking and funniest PT people (in my book) + the happiest and most time-consuming exchange gift modus I've ever encountered = BLAST!!!
CRS Christmas Party 2010
December 16, 2010 Amici, Tomas Morato Madami ako na-miss: the games as in GAMES talaga, the costumes na talagang pinaghandaan at syempre ang KALABAS awards! Sad! Oh well. At least bago ang venue, hindi na room 209. Limited space nga lang (plus everyone's watching, as in kahit ndi CRS) so limited din ang games.
Christmas with my College GFs
December 18, 2010 My apartment, UST, around UST Kastine, Crissy, Shen, Ching and I attended the Paskuhan 2010. We chose it over our plan B: UP Lantern parade. Guess what: WRONG move! OH MY GOLAY! This was like the most boring Paskuhan ever! Quadricentennial celeb pa naman! Or maybe sobrang nag-expect lang kaming lahat? As in the whole Thomasian community! It was like a yoyo experience: sasaya ang crowd, then papatayin ng hosts ang energy then mabubuhay ulit ang crowd dahil sa performers then hosts again! Oh my, sobrang sayang sa oras! We waited for the fireworks pa na according to rumors, it's going to be the grandest fireworks display in Paskuhan history. Capital N-O! Sana nag-lantern parade na lang kami sa UP. Grrrrr! Nevertheless, I'm still thankful that I got to enjoy one whole day with my girlfriends Crissy, Kastine, Shen and her bf Ching. We played Rockband right after the freaking fireworks until 2a.m. and I'm telling you, I should've traded those wasted hours to playing rockband! We enjoyed it way way more than the Paskuhan! Rockband or UP lantern parade! Sayang!
