This is an awesome moment of the 2012 Cadets brassline warming up before a show - playing “Rocky Point Holiday” - a sure Cadets staple considering it’s what they played the very first year they won the championship back in ‘83 in Miami, Florida (which, if I’m not mistaken was the first time a drum corps from the East Coast had won the title; talk about an inspiring night for The Cadets as they were announced champions for the first time - reminds me of the footage from when the Blue Devils won for the first time).
Love this tune - always a high point for Cadets no matter what the year or the placement - one of the hardest working drum corps out there.
