There’s a tag going around on Twitter where people show themselves or their art off from 2012 and then 2018, so here are some commissions I’ve done. Top ones are 2012, the bottom is 2018.

A lot has happened in that time. I moved to Canada, I went to animation school, got in a serious relationship, I’ve worked for several television shows, and I got a corgi. Amazing how 6 years can change a person.

I’m also getting more comfortable with my art in general. Still have a long way to go with environments and backgrounds, but I’m starting to understand it more these days.

2012 VS 2018

2012 : vaguely aware of the aesthetics I want to present. Was unable to achieve it. Never heard of setting powder, can’t draw a straight line with eyeliner

2018 : knows the aesthetics i want to present but is too tired™ to. knows how to makeup but is too tired™ to. Trying to maintain undercut but is too tired™ to.
