001 20130422 Introduction

A long time ago in a land far away, I met an unexpected woman.  She was from a very conservative world, one whose people were not wholly unknown to me, though to say I was familiar with their ways would be a lie.

She surprised me.  Those that I had seen and seldom spoken with before were almost terrified of any who didn't share their ways.  Language was definitely a barrier, but not for her.  Neither was a more risque and fearless sense of humor--displayed and absorbed.

We had met before but I couldn't recall it.  Forgiven circumstances forced this error, though I still struggle to rediscover it.

Slightly less than a long time ago in a land that I have since come to know as home, we began to build a life together: she in her trades, me in mine.  We learn and grow each day, now raising up another to share it all with us.

Hopefully you can learn and share with us, whoever you are.  I hope you will.
