Cold Winter Nights - GX Rivalshipping (Chazz x Jaden)
It was late winter on duel Academy Island at about 2 o'clock in the morning as Chazz Princeton lay in his bed, wide awake and shivering uncontrollably. Chazz had never liked the cold much and of course the slither dorm was to shitty to have decent heating so his room was freezing. Chazz gave a growl of annoyance and curled up into a tight ball in an attempt to keep warm but it was no use. There was no way in hell that he would be able to fall asleep at this rate, not with how cold it was.
As Chazz continued to pout a rustling sound next to him came to his attention. The Goth duelist turned to see Jaden, who happened to be spending the night in his room, fast asleep and looking stupidly content and peaceful. It was very rare for Chazz to let Jaden spend the night with him without sex being involved. And normally Chazz would have told Jaden to go fuck himself for asking but tonight was different, Chazz had been feeling cuddly but his pride had kept him from admitting it. And he was defiantly paying for it now. The rich boy growled softly to himself, truly envying Jaden's ability to sleep so soundly.
Suddenly Chazz fell into deep thought, biting his lip as he did so. How could he get Jaden's warmth without waking him up? He wondered, taking in the possible consequences of curling up with his boyfriend. Chazz's thought were suddenly interrupted when a new gust of cold air filled the room, leaving him utterly frozen. The decision was made then and that.
Slowly, the Goth duelist moved down further under the blankets and cuddled up at his boyfriend's side, wrapping his arms gently around the slither's waist. Luckily Jaden tended to sleep in weird passions so it was fairly ways for Chazz to curl up at his side without waking the other boy up. Jaden had made a small snort but other than that the slither made no indication of disturbance. Chazz gave a sigh of relief then cuddled closer to the slacker, nuzzling deeply into Jaden's chest in contentment.
This was one of the many things that Chazz secretly loved about Jaden, no matter what the slacker was always warm and toasty- and easy to snuggle with.
Within minutes Chazz's body temperature had risen to a degree comfortable enough to fall asleep to. As Chazz was nearing the long awaited realm of sleep Jaden's eyes snapped open and he made an odd grunting noise. At this Chazz jumped and rolled away from Jaden to his side of the bed before the slacker could notice him. But to the Goth's utter annoyance and disappointment Jaden had quickly fallen back to sleep in a position that made it impossible for Chazz to sneakily snuggle with him.
With a whimper of defeat Chazz curled back up into a tight ball on his side of the bed and began to shiver again almost instantly.
As Chazz laid there shivering defeat several whimpers escaped his lips. Somehow this managed to wake the sleeping Jaden, who opened his eyes and looked over at his shivering boyfriend in confusion. Thought it took him a while Jaden eventually realized what was wrong. With a small smile on his face Jaden stealthily snuggled up behind Chazz, who had his back to him, and wrapped his arms around the Goth duelist's waist. Chazz gave a soft gasp of surprise then turned around in Jaden's arms, looking up at the slacker with a shy expression and a soft blush.
Jaden smiled back goofily and pulled the boy closer to his chest and even gave Chazz a quick kiss on the nose. The Goth gave a squeak of surprise and blushed deeply, feeling his chest explode in happiness at the fact that Jaden was awake, even if it did seem a bit mean.
Without a word Jaden laid his head down on Chazz's pillow and looked down at him with a knowing and patient expression. Chazz quickly realized what Jaden was hinting at and snuggled almost instantly into his chest, wrapping his arms tightly around the slacker's torso.
Jaden gave a soft chuckle then leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to the rich boy's forehead, receiving a shaky sigh of contentment from his bashful boyfriend. Then Jaden began to pet Chazz's hair, gently in a small attempt at helping him sleep. The rich boy groaned softly and cuddled closer to Jaden, feeling instantly sleepy in his boyfriend's arms.
Jaden stayed up with Chazz until he finally fell to sleep. When he had Jaden leaned in and kissed him gently on the forehead. Then he too fell quickly back to sleep.

Yugioh GX is one of those shows where I absolutely love the characters but dislike the plot...I’m especially fond of Chazz Princeton, his personality is absolutely adorable, he’s a goth, and his voice is really cute! He’s really just the full package.
Anyways, I’ve written for Chazz and Jaden a couple of times and they were always a joy to write for so might write for them again some time in the future.
This was the first story I posted for the pair back in 2014 and it was the second story I ever wrote with zero dialogue, so I hope you like it! :3
