Back in May when I went to Korea. These pictures were taken in Jeju Island. Largest island in Korean. This is a part of one of the hiking course “올레길.” There are 13 different route/hiking trail around the island. This particular trail was 13km, it took about 4 hours to complete it. The view is breathtaking. Its different from what I was used to
Day I-don't-know-because-I've-been-neglecting-these-posts Location: Bangkok Feeling: excited Obviously in Bangkok now (arrived two days ago). So far I've gone to watch this Korean cooking/comedy show, went on a safari/to the zoo and today we're going shopping--the best part, really. Also received my exam results yesterday. Seriously though, they couldn't just give me that one mark to bring it up to a HD?! Fuck you uni.
Day 14
Location: Saigon (finally!) Feeling: Content
The tour is finally over and I’m ridiculously relieved to be back in Saigon! ( And that’s when you know I’ve been in Vietnam for too long)
Day 12 Location: no idea (Ca Mau or something) Feeling: just get to the god damn hotel already So it's day 2 of the tour and in summary we've gone to two rich houses, a place related to singers and two temples--really, this tour is so...useless (and that's putting it mildly, I swear). This heat isn't helping either. Fml. And for fuck's sake please don't let tomorrow morning be an early one either.
Day 12 & 13
Location: was Ca Mau, but now no idea Feeling: take me to Thailand already
So yesterday’s post didn’t save (edit: seems like it did save, whatever) though it was nothing but a rant and first world problems. This tour is boring the heck outta me and I’m actually desperate to go back to Saigon despite being in a resort right now.
The weather has gone a bit gloomy too with more rain and thunder, and less sun. Of course, the heat and humidity is still around though.
On an unrelated note, I’ll be getting my semester results in 4 days!
Day 11
Location: Sa Dec Feeling: meh
I've officially had my second soursop drink. Only two in a week and a half, this is just disappointing.
Day 10 Location: Saigon feeling: Relieved Today's looking better than yesterday! Not only is the weather much more bearable than that in Da Nang and Hoi An, but we also managed to change hotel rooms. Visited a couple of places today: an old post office, cathedral (which for some reason we didn't go inside) and an old presidential house thingamajig. Will be going on tour for the next few nights so unfortunately we'll have to leave this nice breezy weather.
Day 9
Location: back in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh city (thank god) Feeling: words cannot describe how I feel
My left ear has been unblocked, but I think this is the only highlight I can think of. Woke up feeling sick (another case of food poisoning!) so been feeling extremely tired all day. Our flight back to Saigon also got delayed by an hour and our hotel stinks of cigarettes cause of three fucking idiotic adults. Oh and bloody people at the airport haven’t heard of a fucking line in the toilets.
Everyone and everything is driving me crazy. To top that off I look like a sick person with my lips being unusually pale.
